Ziza LLC ("Ziza," "we," "us," or "our") is a technology company incorporated in the State of New Jersey, United States. We operate an urban mobility platform connecting riders, driver partners, and roadside assistance professionals across New Jersey.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Location data: GPS coordinates during active trips or service sessions (Driver Partners and Professionals when online);
- Device data: Device type, operating system, app version, device identifiers;
- Usage data: Features used, pages visited, timestamps, session duration;
- Log data: IP address, browser type, error logs;
- Communications data: In-app messages, support tickets, ratings and reviews.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
- Google authentication data (when you sign in with Google);
- Payment processor data (Stripe, CinetPay);
- Background check results (Driver Partners only, via authorized CRA partners).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Providing the Services: Matching riders with drivers, processing bookings, managing payments, facilitating Ziza Craft requests;
- Safety and verification: Running background checks, verifying documents, investigating incidents;
- Communication: Sending transactional notifications, ride updates, earnings reports, and customer support responses;
- Improving our platform: Analyzing usage patterns, fixing bugs, developing new features;
- Legal compliance: Complying with applicable laws, responding to law enforcement requests, enforcing our Terms of Service;
- Marketing: Sending promotional offers (only with your consent where required by law).
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide the Services you requested;
- Legal obligation: Compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
- Legitimate interests: Fraud prevention, platform security, and service improvement;
- Consent: Where required (e.g., marketing communications, camera access).
5. Location Data
Ziza collects precise GPS location data to provide core functionality:
- Riders: Location is collected when you open the app to set pickup points and while a trip is active;
- Driver Partners: Location is collected continuously when you are online (accepting trips). Location sharing stops when you go offline;
- Professionals (Ziza Craft): Location is collected when you are online and used to match you with nearby service requests.
You may disable location access in your device settings, but this will prevent core functionality from working.
6. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Between users: When a trip or service is matched, limited profile information (first name, vehicle info, rating) is shared between the rider and driver/professional;
- Service providers: We engage trusted vendors for payment processing, cloud hosting (Google Cloud Platform), background checks, and analytics;
- Legal authorities: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority;
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction;
- Safety: We may share information to protect the safety of users or the public.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Specifically:
- Trip and transaction records: 7 years (for tax and legal compliance);
- Account data: Until account deletion + 90 days for backup recovery;
- KYC documents: As required by applicable regulations, and for no longer than 5 years after account closure;
- Location data: 90 days rolling (for safety investigations); aggregated/anonymized data may be retained longer.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements);
- Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- Opt-out of marketing: Unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time;
- Withdrawal of consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit;
- Encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest;

Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to report any suspicious activity to security@ziza.dev.
10. Children's Privacy
The Ziza Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately at privacy@ziza.dev and we will delete such data promptly.
11. Push Notifications
With your permission, Ziza sends push notifications about trip status, earnings, and service updates. You may opt out at any time through your device's notification settings or within the app.
12. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website and web apps may use cookies and similar technologies for session management, analytics, and user experience improvement. You may control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect functionality.
13. International Transfers
Your data may be processed on servers located in the United States. If you are located outside the U.S., by using the Services you consent to the transfer of your data to the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending you an email. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
